Heintz Art Metal Sterling Silver on Bronze Lamp
Details
This sweet lamp was manufactured by Otto Heintz of Buffalo NY ca 1912. Otto Heintz himself was credited with having devised a method of heatless solder and that method was used in the making of all his sterling on bronze wares. When new these lamps were usually outfitted with a silk lined fabric shade, but the passage of time has caused most of these silk shades to disintegrate, as once happened to this particular lamp. A replacement of mica now adorns this lamp and frankly, we believe makes it much more attractive. Fine original condition.
