Charles Limbert Drop Front Desk – Scarce Model



Few of this particular model Limbert drop front desk have come to market and we have attempted to view  most of them, and after so  doing we can say unequivocally that this particular one listed here is by far the cleanest and most original ever seen.   This desk has been in our home for over thirty five years, and has never left our sight , but for the one occasion when we put it on loan to a Limbert exhibit in New York City, the catalog information of which follows:

Don Marek, who was a scholar on Grand Rapids produced furniture, and who authored the book entitled “The Grand Rapids Contribution” uses the word “architectonic” when discussing this desk
